About Us

Starting out as an apprentice enginesmith/chainsmith gaining experience throughout the years in the manufacturing of chains, anchors, welding, and general smithing, working and gaining experience in a variety of industries such as construction, marine, mining, rigging, roofing, transport and more recently height safety and rescue, Stephen Cunningham saw a need in the market for quality products and specialist services and launched Cairns Safety & Industrial Supplies ("CSIS")  in April 2009.
